There’s something magical about an evening swim — and this Sydney backyard was designed for it. From the start, the brief was all about creating a pool that felt fresh by day, but really came to life at night. What followed was a beautifully built concrete pool, complete with frameless glass fencing and integrated lighting that sets the whole space aglow.
This contemporary pool was custom-built in concrete and finished with light-toned paving and a clean glass fence to keep the space feeling open and luxe. We designed the layout to sit neatly alongside the alfresco area, turning it into a natural entertaining zone.
What really makes it special is the lighting. The client wanted a setup they could enjoy long after the sun goes down, so we incorporated vivid pool lights that add warmth and depth. The lighting scheme shifts the whole mood — it’s perfect for late-night dips or just enjoying the glow from the kitchen window.
From concept to completion, this was a showcase in smooth pool installation and clever pool design. It’s a great example of how we customise every build, right down to the final after-dark detail. If you’re dreaming of something similar, our custom pools in Sydney offer plenty of inspiration.
Let’s make it happen. Whether you want a summer-ready backyard or a pool that shines after dark, we’re here to help. Contact us for a free quote, see more of our latest projects, or explore ideas at Tropical Pools.
